Restaurant Schöntal / Horseshoe Event Bar / Horseshoe Braui

Throughout the year we offer you a varied program with interesting events, music from live bands and DJ's, always without entrance fee! In the bar we serve our own beer and the whole range of our food and drink menu.

Smoking is allowed in the Horseshoe Bar, the bar is well ventilated and air-conditioned. The Horseshoe Bar is wheelchair accessible.

Restaurant Schöntal

The rustic, cosy lounge with cosy corners and chemine fire in the wintertime. Enjoy your stay with us: in the morning with a Kafi and Znünibrötli, at noon with a hearty menu, in the afternoon with a delicious dessert or a beer and in the evening with a fine dinner.

We spoil our guests with a down-to-earth and seasonal cuisine. In addition to many delicious specialities, the Schöntal has been offering a lunch menu for Fr. 16.00 from Monday to Friday for 20 years! In addition, we offer you a wide range of drinks and wine and our own beer.

Horseshoe Braui

The brewery with a unique atmosphere for celebrating and getting married.  Our own, naturally cloudy Horseshoe beer is brewed here. The fine barley juice can be enjoyed directly from the tap. In addition, we serve you and your guests culinary specialities from the Braui kitchen and a fine drop from the cellar.

We open the Horseshoe Braui for you and your guests or our numerous events.  The two-storey room can accommodate up to 200 guests. We would be pleased to plan your event together with you and look forward to your reservation request.

The Horseshoe Braui is smoke-free, air-conditioned and has limited wheelchair access.

Horseshoe Parlour

The cosy parlour for your event. We open the Horseshoe Stube for you and your guests. In the rustic ambience of the Horseshoe Stube there is room for up to 60 people. We look forward to your reservation and will be happy to discuss your culinary wishes with you.

Ritter Stube

The cozy tower room with a view. Are you looking for something special for your party with family, company or friends? Then you will be thrilled by our Knights' Room. The Ritter Stube impresses with its unique interior and is designed for groups of up to 25 people. We look forward to your reservation and will be happy to discuss your culinary wishes with you.

Horseshoe Beer 

We brew our own, naturally cloudy Horseshoe beer. The unpasteurized barley juice is available exclusively in our house in open bar. The Horseshoe beer is a refreshing, bottom-fermented, light and light but full-bodied beer. Typically Swiss (Ober-) Art(h) - with the noble aroma of Swiss Hürlimann yeast, with an unobtrusive hop note from our Swiss hops, super refreshing with natural carbonic acid!
