Accessibility on the mountain railways
Accessibility on Mount Rigi is a reality. But where are barrier-free tours on the mountain possible? The following list provides a short overview.
Usually, the cogwheel railways provide wheelchair-accessible transport from Goldau to Vitznau. However, some stations on the mountain are not fully wheelchair-accessible. For example, some have no ramps or toilets available for wheelchair users.
In order for you to know where you can board and exit best with a wheelchair, walking aids or prams, the Mount Rigi Railways' wheelchair accessibility is presented below:

The mountain and valley stations are wheelchair-accessible.
AERIAL CABLE CAR WEGGIS - RIGI KALTBAD
The mountain and valley stations are wheelchair-accessible. In Weggis and Rigi Kaltbad, there are lifts available which make it possible to reach the stations.
